On the historic night of November 29 at 8pm
20-year-old Northwestern University student Lawrence Dai is watching Julie & Julia every day for a year and blogging about it. Charlie and Emily are reading his blog every day for a year and planning a party about it. We are going to host Lawrence’s final viewing at The Jones. We provide the fan club, drinks, French food, ambiance, the movie…and all he has to do is show up. And guess what? He’s going to! But in order to celebrate properly we need you to get on board. So read his blog. Join his fan club. Ask him questions and get to know him. We’ll elect a president and mail out decoder rings or something. Julie Powell cooked every recipe in The Art of French Cooking over a year and wrote a blog that got her a book deal and a movie starring Meryl Streep…the least we can do is throw Lawrence a party.
